Updated version of an old favourite. I bought these to replace an older pair of Roclite 290’s. On first appearances, it looked like a few cosmetic changes to an already very good all-round trail shoe. Having done a few runs in them not so, the loop lacing system is a great improvement allowing you to set the tension easily when putting them on and releasing when taking them off! There is also the welcome addition of an extra hole at the top of the shoe to lock the laces and maintain the tension. Small improvements yes, but a better fit for sure and far less likely to get heel lift during a muddy race because your laces have slackened off!
