Christmas Gift Sets for Runners 2026: Bronze, Silver and Gold
Share
Buying for a runner is hard. They already own six pairs of shoes, they have opinions about socks, and they'll know straight away if you picked up a gel they hate. So we've done the thinking for you. Our three Christmas gift sets are packed with kit we use ourselves, at £25, £60 and £100, and every one comes in a Bog Dog branded Altra shoe bag.
Why a runner's gift set makes a good Christmas present
Runners get through the small stuff fast: socks wear out, anti-chafe balm runs out, gels get eaten. A gift set gives them a few things they'll actually use on their next run, chosen by people who run, rather than one thing they might not. You also save money against buying each item on its own, and if a size isn't right it can be swapped in our Stamford shop after Christmas.
This year's Bog Dog runner's gift sets
Bronze runner's gift set, £25

The stocking filler that actually gets used. Save 18% on buying them separately.
- Feetures Elite Light Cushion Christmas Socks: festive, but still proper running socks.
- Body Glide Foot Glide 22g: rub it on before a run and blisters don't get a look in.
- Maurten Gel 100: a race day favourite that's easy on the stomach.
Silver runner's gift set, £60

For the runner who's out in all weathers. Worth £73.49.
- Salomon Active Handheld Flask: sits in the hand, so no bouncing bottle on a long run.
- Ronhill Classic Gloves: light, warm and easy to stuff in a pocket once they warm up.
- Feetures Elite Light Cushion Christmas Socks
- Body Glide Foot Glide 22g
- Maurten Gel 100
Gold runner's gift set, £100

The big one. Worth £128.48, and the only set with a gait analysis in it.
- Bog Dog gait analysis voucher: a full gait analysis with one of our fitters in Stamford (£40), and they get £20 back off new shoes bought on the day.
- Ronhill Fuel Flask 500ml: a soft flask that squashes down as they drink.
- Ronhill Race Waist Belt: phone, keys and gels in one place.
- Ronhill Classic Gloves
- Lock Laces: elastic no-tie laces that never come undone.
- Feetures Elite Light Cushion Christmas Socks
- Body Glide Foot Glide 22g
- Maurten Gel 100
What's a gait analysis, and why is it a good gift?
One of our fitters watches them run and looks at how their feet land, then finds the shoes that suit the way they move. The right pair means more comfortable miles and fewer niggles. A gait analysis costs £40, and they get £20 back off new shoes when they buy on the day. Read more about gait analysis.

Not after a set? Here's what we'd put under the tree, by budget.
- Under £20: running socks, Body Glide anti-chafe balm, a handful of gels.
- £20 to £50: running gloves, a warm running hat, or a head torch or chest light for the dark mornings.
- Let them choose: a Bog Dog gift card from £10, which can go towards new shoes or a gait analysis.

Christmas gift set questions
What if I don't know their size?
Choose "Not sure" when you order, and they can swap the socks or gloves for the right size in our Stamford shop after Christmas.
Can I collect from the shop?
Yes. Choose click and collect at checkout and pick it up from 42 Broad Street, Stamford, or we'll post it to you.
Can I buy a gift set in the shop?
Of course. Pop in, have a look at what's in each bag, and we'll help you pick. Call us on 01780 594165 if you want us to put one aside.
What if an item sells out?
Sets are made up in the shop and stock is limited. If an item sells out we'll swap it for one of equal or greater value, and we'll always tell you before we send it. Sizes and colours can be exchanged in store after Christmas.
When is the last posting date?
Order by mid-December for delivery before Christmas, and check the date at checkout. After that, click and collect from our Stamford shop is the quickest way.
Gift sets are here while stocks last
We make up a small number of each set, and once the socks and flasks run out, that's it for this year. Shop Christmas gifts for runners or come and see us in Stamford.
