Bought as a present for a friend so I didn’t really know what to buy thankfully bog dogs helpful staff steered me in the right direction and she loved it light breathable and very comfortable thank you so much x

Received sound advice from Bog Dog when looking to buy my first pair of trail running trainers, that were going to be suitable for 35km event in the Brecon Beacons.
After trying on 5 different pairs and using the in store treadmill a few times I went for the Altra Oylmpus 275’s.
They initially felt good on a couple of short trail runs to try and break them in.
Wore them last weekend for the main event and they were perfect, not one blister, were very comfortable and the wide toe box was perfect for my feet. They held my heel nice and tight, occasionally felt my forefoot move around a little bit but this was a good payoff against having the wide toe box that I needed.
They also were very easy to clean up after all the abuse they took in the Beacons.
When it’s time for my next pair these Olympus 275’s are going to take some beating but I’ll definitely be going to bog dog for their fantastic advice and help.

Worn only twice but 7 hour run through hills over the weekend. I was sceptical at the start as it wasnt as stretchy as my salomon vest. I expected bad chafing. I did however have slight chafing on the bottom at my back but nothing else. I carried about 4.5kg.
Pros:
- huge storage space
- lots of different compartments some of the side ones are difficult to reach but thats not a big issue.
- price is ok.
- sits comfortably well

Cons:
No attachment for a quiver, big minus point from me for that, sorry. There are pole attachments at the front but personally i dont like having them there. There are also loops at the back but those are not really elastic and i struggled to get both in there even with the vest taken off so thats needing improvement.
I got some loops stitched on for the quiver by a friend and its now all good for me.
Could do with more than just one zipped pocked at the front but saying that, the other store compartments are deep and nothing falls out.

Popped in after a run to upgrade the shoes, the young lady who helped me, was brilliant, understanding of my needs, and went out of her way to bring me a collection of shoes that would suit, I picked saucony! She was an efficient sales person and very polite and friendly.
When it comes to buying a second pair I won’t hesitate to come back

So comfortable - a big improvement on my existing Hoka trainers - made a big difference to my training.

Great shoes. Run them in from new with no problems. Comfortable with good cushioning.
A shame they are not in brighter colours.
